The productions that I have been lucky enough to photograph at Eton have been performed to the very highest level. The boys from all year groups have always excelled in the arts and in particular in drama whether it’s on stage, film, stage crew, directing or writing.
Some are epic period dramas, others are light-hearted comedies and to be invited to photograph the two school plays performed at the state-of-the-art Farrar every year is a privilege.
As with sport at Eton, there has been a steady stream of actors, playwrights from the school who have gone on to make significant contributions both on and off the stage, from Oscar winners to top stage designers and comedians. A few notable Alumni include Dominic West, Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Damian Lewis and Ivo Graham.
